My name is Jon "Jonny Stone" Thrasher. I was born on October 30, 1987 in Seattle, Washington. I am the 4th out of 5 siblings, raised by a single parent Denise Anderson. I grew up in a tough environment, surrounded by drugs, alcohol, and gangs. That is who I became. During the process of getting older I started to dig a deeper hole by dropping out of school and still living in the streets. I sent out on an adventure to California to find a better life but ended up on the wrong path like before. Since 16 I've been battling with God on the straight and narrow. I finally decided at the age of 22 to fully surrender my life to God. Writing, producing, and engineering music is my life. One day I prophesied through a song and it came to pass from a vision that God gave me while sleeping. This is when I knew it was time for me to do Gods will. I am now 23 years old and still reside in Seattle, Washington. I recently got married to Omeka Asa on February 10,2009.
My wife and I are the founders of Black Crown Movement, which is a positive music organization. We minister through music in the form of hip hop and gospel to help inspire those in communities all over the world. The idea started from my wife, she got the inspiration from my song called "Black Crown." The meaning of the song is having strength, loyalty, courage, and prevailing through GOD. This is exactly who we are and what our movement represents.
I've been doing music since I was 8 years old, I wrote my first at 12, and built my own studio at the age of 15. Since than I've been battling tough to find my way through GOD's will and do the duty I am assigned. This is my way of giving back through Black Crown Movement and using my talent God blessed me with to spread Gods word and help those in need of guidance. I want to impact souls through my music and just be a positive role model to the next generations to come.
